Code of Conduct

Expectations while users are on-site

This Code of Conduct sets out the expectations for users of the facilities while on-site. It forms part of the Terms and Conditions of Use.

The person who makes the booking is responsible for ensuring that all users and activity participants attending the site are aware of and comply with these requirements.

Repeated or serious breaches of this Code of Conduct may result in a review of booking privileges and could lead to temporary suspension or cancellation of future bookings. Failure to comply may result in further action in accordance with the Terms and Conditions of Use.


General Code of Conduct

Users are expected to:

Comply with instructions given by on‑site venue staff at all times
✅ Arrive and leave strictly within the booked time, allowing sufficient time for set‑up and clear‑up
✅ Be aware that the final 5 minutes of each booking are reserved for changeovers
✅ Keep a register of attendees for fire safety purposes
✅ Ensure children and young people are supervised by a responsible adult at all times
✅ Wear clean and appropriate footwear before entering the site
✅ Be considerate of other hirers, local residents, and shared spaces
✅ Leave all hired areas clean, tidy, and as found


Users must not:

❌ Smoke or vape anywhere on-site
❌ Bring alcohol, food, or drink without prior written agreement
❌ Use offensive language or display aggressive, disruptive, or threatening behaviour
❌ Take photographs, videos, or use mobile imaging devices without prior approval
❌ Wear footwear that may damage floors, including stilettos, black‑soled shoes, or metal‑tipped, studded, or cleated footwear
❌ Use outdoor or heavily soiled footwear on indoor surfaces
❌ Bring pets onto site (with the exception of registered assistance dogs)
❌ Bring chewing gum or items that could cause harm, including knives or glass objects

If there is any uncertainty about suitable footwear, users must check with on‑site venue staff before entering the space.


Additional Rules for All‑Weather, Astro, and Grass Pitches

Users are expected to:

✅ Follow the General Code of Conduct in full
✅ Wear suitable footwear appropriate to the playing surface
✅ Remove water bottles and personal items after use

If unsure about appropriate footwear or equipment, users should check with on‑site venue staff.


Users must not:

❌ Move goals without permission from on‑site venue staff
❌ Spit or deposit chewing gum on pitch surfaces
❌ Consume food or drink within pitch areas (water bottles permitted)
❌ Bring motor vehicles, bicycles, trailers, or cycles onto pitch areas
❌ Engage in rugby scrums on any pitch surface
