This accessibility statement applies to BookingsPlus. This website is run by Kajima Community. This website is currently in BETA phase. This means we are actively developing the platform. As additional website pages and functionality are introduced, this accessibility statement will evolve.

We want as many people as possible to be able to use this website. For example, that means you should be able to:

change colours and contrast levels
zoom in up to 300% without the text spilling off the screen
navigate most of the website using just a keyboard
navigate most of the website using speech recognition software
listen to most of the website using a screen reader (including the most recent versions of JAWS, NVDA and VoiceOver)

We've also made the website text as simple as possible to understand.

How accessible is this website?

Floor plans are saved as images and text-to-speech applications may not work on the text.
Images do not currently have alternate text.
Certain elements do not have a suitable contrast ratio
Placeholder text has been used as Labels for fields.
Search cannot be performed solely by keyboard.
Screen readers may pick up text from a previous page when using the login feature.
Not all links have discernible text.

How we tested this website

This website was last tested on 24th November 2022.

When concluding the BETA phase, the website will undergo a formal accessibility test. You will find the results in this accessibility statement. The next test is scheduled for Q1 2024.

The following issues are rated as high in terms of the severity of impact:

Placeholder Text has been used as labels for fields. This fails WCAG2.1 success criterion: 1.1.1 Non-text content.
Images do not currently have alternate text, for example, the Logo image on the homepage, and photographs on Venue pages. This fails WCAG 2.1 success criterion: 1.3.2 Meaningful Sequence.
On the login page, a screen reader may pick up text outside of the login section. This fails WCAG 2.1 guideline: 2.1.1 Keyboard.
The search panel cannot be completed by keyboard alone. This fails WCAG 2.1 guideline: 3.2.2 Predictable.
Not all links have discernible text. This fails WCAG 2.1 success criterion 4.1.2 Name, Role, Value.
Not all ID attribute values are unique. This fails WCAG2.1 success criterion 4.1.1 Parsing.
The contrast ratio between social media icons and venue capacity icons is insufficient. This fails WCAG 2.1 success criterion 1.4.11 Non-text Contrast.

We aim to solve all of the above high-priority problems by the next test.
